Odyssey > 07. The two squirrel-cage fans were for moving air across the condensers of the basement air conditioner units. Apparently, the small blade-style fans shown in the exterior photo were just decorative... Note the closet flange and waste pipe for the commode. These are supposed to drop directly into a tank, but this one makes two 90-degree turns to get around the fans, then enters the tank from the side.
