09. The "basement air conditioning" units in the small bay over the drive axle. These were a maintenance nightmare, and we're going with three roof air units in the new conversion. This bay, which extends all the way across the bus, will be used for storage. Incidentally, the (incredibly small, for a bus this size) black water tank was sqeezed in this bay, betwwen these A/C units and an identical pair on the other side. Of course, accessing the tank for any kind of maintenance was impossible.
